[Lahore]: The difficulties of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's family are increasing in Pakistan. In a case of corruption, Nawaz's younger brother and PM-N chief Shahbaz Sharif's son-in-law Imran Ali Yusuf was declared a runaway on Tuesday.
Former prime minister Sharif is already in jail in connection with corruption, with daughter Maryam and son-in-law Safdar. The court has declared both sons Hassan and Hussein a fugitive if they are not present in cases related to corruption.
Anti-corruption Organizations National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued summons to Shahbaz to appear in a housing scandal on August 20. Now on the recommendation of this institution, NAB court has declared Shahbaz's son-in-law Imran a fugitive. Imran is in London at this time. He is accused of taking Rs 1.2 crore from former CEO of Punjab Power Development, Ekram Naved.
An application has been filed in Peshawar High Court to remove the word 'Nawaz' from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). A lawyer named Khanjada Ajmal Pab has filed this petition. In this, it has been argued that Nawaz Sharif should be sentenced to death in the corruption case by the court, so that he order the EC to remove the name of Nawaz from the PML-N.
