For being a writer you must be a reader- Writing starts when you sit down with a blank sheet and jot down what?s going on in your head. But what if have never read something and do not know how is it written? So, it is important to be an avid reader whilst you are into writing. Find books of interest, biographies, history, fiction, different cultures, anything. Longer works like books help develop organization skills. They build vocabulary and make sentence structure feel more natural. Read books about the genre you like, and also read books about how to write. There are a lot of really great books out there, and every one of those great books has a different lesson to teach you. Every book suggests a different approach to writing. 

Start Writing Regularly, Keep it Simple- There is this thought in your head but by the time you buy time to write you forget it. So, organize yourself. Start with whatever things you have. The best way to refine any skill is to practice it. With writing, you should be practicing daily. Chances are, you already are as you are replying to emails and sharing social media updates. If not, then you need to start. Your daily practice can include writing that is shared with others like blog posts, social media posts, and comments on articles. Or it can include writing that is for you only, like poetry or any short story. When it comes to writing, the simpler you make it, the better. Make your point and move on. You shouldn?t be focused on word count as much as you are focused on whether your reader will be able to get what you are saying. 

Write first, edit later and use a Professional Online Editor-They say that the first draft is the most powerful. It has raw thought that are very influential. So, do not worry about grammar mistakes, spellings or word count. Focus on getting your thoughts out on paper or in your document first. Edit once you are finished. Advanced writers can take a class on poetry or literature and get quite a bit out of them without destroying their voice. Get good feedback from instructor, finding someone who will give good feedback is tough, especially if you don?t know what good feedback looks like. Research critique groups and learn about proper critique etiquette. Simply learning about how to give a good critique will help you recognize when you?ve found someone who can help you improve your writing.
