This is the most interesting theme of movies we all loved as a child; in fact, a majority of us today love to imagine the modulus operandi behind the jailbreaks. Jailbreak or Prison Escape or Breaking out of prison; you can name it the way you want. But the main agenda is getting out of the premises that hinder the freedom of the inmates. And in this task, the journey is more important than the destination. 

We all have watched movies such as the Shawshank Redemption, Shutter Island, Escape Plan, The Great Escape, and others. Now, all these films got based on the jailbreak stories. And you might be amazed to know that the top-rated movie in the history of cinema is the Shawshank Redemption. Yes! You heard it right. A jailbreak movie rated 9.3 on IMDB is the best feature film in the world. Well, what important is not the tag of the jailbreak being considered an offense, it is the damn story behind it. The story of the character, the life of the inmates, their mindset, all the things lift questions in the human mind.  

Jailbreak is an art and the cinema has been an example of it. An interesting fact about people who got out of prison is that they later got hired by the officials to improve the security measures of the jail. No doubt that escaping from prison is a criminal offense and it is highly likely to result in time being added to the inmate's sentence, as well as the inmate being placed under increased security. However, once they break out, they have definitely out beaten the system, and you got to give some credit to them. 

Tales of prisoners who escape successfully have always fueled the imagination of people all over the globe. The Escape of Alcatraz in 1962 conducted by Frank Lee Morris and Anglin remains one of the most famous jailbreaks of all time. And the best part is that they escaped from a jail build on an island. Sometimes you might consider the stories to be fictional, but in fact, many of them are real. Even the movie plots got inspired by many such real-life events. 

The psychology what makes prison breaks intensively interesting is that a part of us wants them to fail and serve the sentence, while on the other hand we silently cheer as they make their way to freedom through sheer intelligence.
