Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible- Fallout’s trailer out!

Tom Cruise is back with the brand new Mission Impossible film, Paramount Pictures and Sky dance have released the first Mission: Impossible 6 trailer, finally revealing the highly anticipated sequel. Writer/director Christopher McQuarrie marks the first director in the franchise to repeat, reprising his duties from Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Paramount chose the Super Bowl to debut the first trailer.

The story of this new film finds Tom Cruise aka Ethan Hunt on the ropes, as the IMF’s past good deeds come back to haunt them in the worst way. Mission: Impossible – Fallout is set to be released on July 27 2018. The two-minute-thirty-two-second long trailer opens with a man talking to Cruise’s character about how he had failed a previous mission. And what follows sees Cruise at the top of his action game, flying off things, beating people to pulp.

Ethan Hunt and his IMF allies are going out to a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Tom Cruise is still doing amazing, impossible things in the first trailer for Mission: Impossible—Fallout

Beginning in 1996, the films follow the missions of the IMF's main field team under the leadership of Hunt, who is forced to take over after the team is betrayed from within in the first film. The series focuses on Hunt as the lead character as opposed to the ensemble cast structure of the television series, although some characters, such as Luther Stickell (played by American actor Ving Rhames) and Benji Dunn (played by British actor Simon Pegg) have recurring roles in the films. This time though, Henry Cavill and his mustache are along for the ride along with Angela Bassett, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin and more.

Watch how Tom Cruise broke his ankle while shooting for MI-Fallout.

Fallout was intended to be made on a smoother schedule, but Cruise’s ankle injury extended production. McQuarrie has proved time and again that he’s great under pressure, and the movie looks absolutely amazing.

The sequel is bringing back Michelle Monaghan’s character from Mission: Impossible 3. It’ll be interesting to see how this sequel brings it all together. The franchise has gotten better with age, as each director has brought his unique sensibilities to the material.

From the looks of this trailer McQuarrie has done a terrific job, it could be the most visually stunning Mission film yet. Ethan Hunt’s role in the entire franchise is badass. And the stunts, well, look absolutely insane.

The series is the 20th-highest-grossing film series of all time, with a worldwide gross of over $2.7 billion to date. Mission: Impossible – Fallout is set to be released on July 27, 2018.
