If you are a blogger, a freelancer or an entrepreneur and you are doing work that has a good content in it. At some point of time you will require photographs or Images to make your content look more attractive. But the problem here is that all of us are not good photographers; so, what we do is simply Google search relatable images, download them and attach it to our content. However, this is not a safe method and all of the work that you have done may be considered as plagiarized. The images have copyright issues; therefore we need to attach images that are legally free from copyright.

The Internet offers many websites for free images that can be used for commercial as well as personal use.
How do these images go free?
There is a license allowing you to get an image for free, and use it for free without worry. They all fall under the Creative Commons (CC) license family. CC images available can be modified, edited, and used t without copyright backlash. Then, there are public domain images that mean that they belong to the public. Images you can find at Wikipedia are in the public domain.
Here is a list of websites that will allow you to download CC images-
Pexels- Started in 2015, it has grown to develop a reputable stock photo library. It has best stock images at one place and are available and published under CC0 license which means you can copy, modify, distribute and perform the photos. These high resolution pictures are free for personal and even for commercial use without asking for permission or setting a link to the source. So attribution is not required. It also outsources images from such high-quality websites as Gratisography, Little Visuals, and more. Also, Pexels screens their images to ensure the highest quality images available.

Pixabay- Each and every content is free, you can get free images, vectors and video contents. All images are free for commercial use and no attribution is required. You can use them royalty free for anything also you use these images for commercial purpose. From pixabay you can easily download and modify the images. Pixabay really stands out as a great source of images. Everything’s of impressively high quality, and there are pictures in the database for whatever keyword you might input.

Unsplash- Unsplash is a fairly well-known source of images, it provides some great, world-class even, images that you can use for free however you like. The only problem with them is that they are perhaps a bit too popular on the web – in other words, you are likely to find other people already using the same images as you. The website claims over 70,000 contributing photographers and generates more than 5 billion photo impressions per month on their growing library of over 509,000 photos. Unsplash has been cited as one of the world’s leading photography websites by Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, CNET, Medium and The Next Web.

Freerange Stock-Once you register for a free membership at Freerange, thousands of high-resolution stock photos will be at your fingertips at no cost. All of the website’s images can be used for personal or commercial projects. For photographers, Freerange also offers Google AdSense revenue sharing when you contribute to the site.
New Old Stock-New Old Stock is a source of black-and-white retro images. The repository is truly stunning in the number of things it illustrates. This directory is a joy to browse through in itself, not mentioning the possibility to then use the photos on your blog. The site truly recaptures history.
