During this period, passenger tickets for 97,586 bets or unaccounted ticket were caught. 4.91 crore was recovered as a fine from them. During this time, cases of ticket brokerage were registered against 45 people and arrested.
3.73 million people action against:
At the same time, in April, Northern Railway took action against 3.73 lakh people. It also includes traveling people carrying more than the prescribed weight. Such travelers have been fined Rs 17.59 crore in April, which is 50 percent more than in April last year.

Officials say that without the valid ticket, the passengers are not only compensated for the revenue but also the other passengers. It is also unfair to protect the passengers.
