Design
Samsung Galaxy A8+ was launched in December 2017. The phone comes with a 6.00-inch Amoled display. Resplendent in metal and glass, it?s thoughtfully designed to fit comfortably in your hands. However, it feels quite heavy with a weight of 190 gms, which is a point to note for a 6 inch smart phone.
In the box you get a C-type fast charger, similar to those along with other premium Samsung smart phones. Also, you get in-ear styled earphones. In terms of design the dual Sim phone is a premium smart phone you won?t want to put down.
Unlocking and Security
Unlocking the phone gets easy, as Samsung upgrades to Face- Recognition Technology; the finger print scanner is highly responsive too. However, the finger print scanner is placed very close to the rear camera, which is quite troublesome as you have to stretch your fore finger a bit more. Samsung could have done better with its placement.
Display and Camera
The Galaxy A8+ offers an expansive view with the Infinity Display. The 6 inch phone comes with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2220 pixels. Samsung has not enabled this phone for 4K video resolution which is quite disappointing for a smart phone priced around 33,000 INR.
On the back you just get a single camera set up, however, there is a dual front camera. Its rear 16 MP camera takes stunning pictures that are bright and clear. The dual front camera 16MP FF (F1.9) + 8MP (F1.9) with Live Focus mode takes selfies to another level. Blur the background effect makes you picture even more amazing. You can also adjust the effect later on.
The dark is not dark on the Galaxy A8+. Its rear camera comes with a F1.7 lens, larger 1.12 µm pixels, and bigger ½.8? sensor that help capture scenes in low light with amazing clarity and detailing.
Memory and Multitasking
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy A8+ runs Android 7.1.1(Nougat) and is powered by a 3500mAh battery. And if you travel a lot or have two separate numbers, you also have the option to use Dual SIM.
Galaxy A8+ is great at multitasking and gaming, the 6GB RAM on the Galaxy A8+ gives you freedom to do things you want to do with ease.
Connectivity
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Barometer.
