The track record of Reliance and its owner Mukesh Ambani in expanding their wealth has been phenomenal while Ratan Tata and his company TATA serve its employees very well. Both Mukesh Ambani and Ratan Tata have a similar history and background, both have completed their education from the top MBA colleges around the world, Mukesh Ambani graduated from the Stanford University while Ratan Tata from Harvard Business School. Both got the opportunity to run their family business and both of them achieved great success in their respective fields. 

But Why is that Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in India, it is because TATA donates 66% of its profit in charity. In 2008, TATA Company had revenue of 108 billion dollars while Reliance only had revenue of 44 billion dollars. While Ratan Tata is a great Philanthropist donating half of its profit to charity, Reliance, on the other hand, does not do so. 

Ratan Tata is a modest person and benevolence has been in his nature. Ratan Tata introduced the Tata Nano a low budget car in India so that every middle-class family could get the comfort of a four-wheeler; it was one of the dream projects of Ratan Tata. Tata employees have various benefits in terms of discounts offered especially to them; they get a discount of 2.5 % at Croma Electronics, 2.5% at Tanishq Jewelry, 2.5% at Tata Housing, 20% at Voltas, moreover cash back of 1, 80,000 INR at Tata Motors and 10% discount on Titan Plus. The employees get annual increment and a bonus too, so there are perks of being a TATA employee.
